MEMBERS of Helston Rotary Club have presented the town's Methodist church with a cheque for £1,000 to help the homeless.
The presentation was made after Reverend Danny Reed of Helston Methodist Church gave a talk on the subject last Tuesday to members of the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard.
He told members about the work they are doing to support Helston’s homeless people, such as providing meals, and facilities for washing clothes and showering.
Rotary member Eddy Search said: "Members of the Rotary Club were pleased to support this work and presented Danny with the cheque."
