A team of paramedics from Falmouth took on the Tuff Enuff Above and Beyond challenge at the weekend and as well as coming away from it a little battered and bruised, they also raised cash to help little Stanley Barnes and his family.
Falmouth station operations officer, Chris Mann, said: "It certainly wasn't easy, in fact it was pretty tough, some bits more than others but we worked together really well and helped each other around and through the obstacles. It was a really good day and everybody enjoyed the challenge, a lot of sore muscles and bruises the next day but I was all worth it."
"I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has already donated, every pound will make a difference and we really appreciate the support. We will continue to take donations until we have collected all of sponsorship money ready to pass on to Stanley and his family.
"I am very proud of the team and the commitment they have shown to this. The teamwork and effort that they put into tackling the course was excellent and I was proud to be a part of it."
