there was a sea of colour on the Moor in Falmouth this afternoon as the town's schoolchildren gathered for the annual Oyster Festival parade.
Groups from both Falmouth Primary and Falmouth Secondary, Marlborough, St Francis', St Mary's and King Charles Schools all brought chinese dragons that they have been making for the parade, with the secondary school also bringing a band for the children to march in time with.
The parade set off from the Moor at around 3pm, wending its way through to Events Square, led by the figure of a giant oyster fisherman.
