Helston and the Lizard Foodbank has received a large boost after one school handed over their harvest festival collection to the organisation to be given to those in need.
The pupils at Trannack School held an assembly where they demonstrated their knowledge by guessing what food goes into a food box.
They were visited by Jenny Jackson, a volunteer from the foodbank who collected the donations and talked to them about the work of the group.
