Penryn Rugby Football Club, alongside players from Bodmin, have observed a minute's silence before their match this afternoon in honour of over 120 dead in the attacks on Paris last night.
A spokesman for the club said: "We stand shoulder to shoulder in respect."
Rachel Jeanne Monique Gerred-Hart shared Penryn Rugby Football Club's photo saying: "Well done boys. Sure we have all had moments to reflect on the awful attacks last night. The reason I post this here is because of Penryn connections to France. Penryn is twinned with Audierne. Today I left my heart with Paris."
Elsewhere in Cornwall many have been expressing their solidarity with the city on Facebook and Twitter with many changing their profile pictures to incorporate the French flag and Cornish companies doing the same.
