People of all ages have been preparing for the Penryn Christmas Lights switch on with lantern making workshops at the Olive Branch Community Cafe.
The cafe in St Gluvias Community Hall has been led by Dave and Sarah from the town's Xtrospective gallery, who have also been running similar workshops with children at Penryn Primary Academy.
Jane Cross, of the Olive bRanch Cafe, said: "We’ve had a brilliant response from people of all ages at the lantern making workshops over the last couple of weeks.
"While most people here have been content with creating simple designs there have been one or two ambitious ideas which have presented a challenge.
"You can see for yourselves the amazing results on December 5th when the lanterns will form part of the parade for Penryn lights switch on event."
