Following the arrest of three men in the St Ives area earlier this month for allegedly overcharging members of the public for carrying out landscaping works, Cornwall Trading Standards is asking other people who are concerned they may have fallen victim to these man to contact them.

The men were arrested in Lelant on Wednesday, November 18, following complaints they had been overcharging householders for carrying out tree surgery and landscaping works.

The men, who drove a white, unmarked transit-style van, had been reported to be cold calling householders in the area touting for work. As well as allegedly overcharging for the works, the men failed to give any paperwork.
