The choir of St Mary's School in Falmouth has donated £200 to Children's Hospice South West thanks to a very successful Christmas concert.
The choir raised the cash during a concert at St Mary's Church, where they were joined by Bath Spa University Chamber Choir.
Year six pupils at the school had decided they wanted to raise money for the charity's Little Harbour hospice, which provides care for some pupils at the school, after visiting the centre back when they were in year two.
Mary Murfin, community fundraiser for Children's Hospice South West, was at the school to receive the cheque from the children.
She said: "It's wonderful when children are inspired to help other children in ways such as this.
"And we are grateful to them and the whole community for their support."
