A fish and chip shop in Porthleven has shown it is the "plaice" for fundraising after donating more than £1,100 to the RNLI.
Roland Lowery of Roland's Happy Plaice met up with Porthleven & District RNLI branch chairman Peter Boyd to hand over £1,106.19 raised over the last nine months.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "Porthleven & District Branch is hugely grateful to Roland for his support and to all his customers who have so willingly and generously donated their loose change to Roland's counter-top RNLI collecting bucket.
"All the money raised by the branch goes to the Penlee Lifeboat Station Appeal to help fund a new operations building for the station."
