AFTER two weeks, Porthleven FC A are top of division I of the West Cornwall Summer Pool League after a 7-2 win over Breage Social Club last week.

Defending champions, Helston RBL A won 6-3 against their E side while wins from Steve Williams, Paul Williams, Dave Fox and Matthew Barden helped Mullion FC to a 5-4 win over Helston FC. Helston CC A edged out the Seven Stars A 5-4 in the remaining game in the division.

The Queens Arms lead division II after a 6-3 win over Helston Rugby Club. Wins from Sean Hunt, Wayne Rogers and Ben Flint helped the Crown Inn to a 5-4 win over Helston RBL D and Porthleven FC B started their campaign with a 7-2 victory over Helston RBL C.

The Lion & Lamb jumped to the top of division III with a 9-0 whitewash over Seven Stars B while Praa Sands Golf Club defeated White Hart B 5-4 and are in second spot. Mark Buchanan, Lee Mitchell and Darran Hill all won for Helston RBL F as they defeated Helston CC B 5-4 and the Rodney defeated Red Lion 6-3.

Everyone should note that the presentation night for the Winter League is now June 22 at Helston RBL, starting at 7.15pm, not June 15, as stated on the Summer League fixture lists.
