Around 200 members of Falmouth and District Scouts gathered in Penryn last weekend where they paraded in celebration of two events.
The district is made up of the 2nd Falmouth Scout Group, 4th Falmouth Scout Group, 6th Falmouth Sea Scout Group, 8th/9th Falmouth Scout Group, 1st Mylor Scout Group, 1st Helford Sea Scout Group and the 1st Trescobeas Scout Group.
Representatives from various groups congregated on the Kernick Industrial Estate ahead of the parade, which was led by Constantine Youth Band. The event was held in celebration of St George's Day and also to mark the 100th anniversary of cub scouting.
The parade marched to Penryn College where the youngsters, and the not-so-young, tucked into a feast fit for a king, or maybe a saint.
