Rosemullion vets are hoping the second annual Bark in the Park will be even more successful than last year's which saw 2,000 people of all ages join in the fun.

Kimberley Park in Falmouth will once again be the venue for the "massive doggy festival" which will take place between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, May 22. There will be a fun dog show starting at noon and alongside this there will be a bouncy castle, face-painting, a pets' corner and vets will be available for a chat.

There will also be lots of food, other refreshments and stalls and demonstrations by some clever dogs. People will also be able to meet some lovely rescue dogs who are looking for their forever homes. All money raised on the day will be divided equally between the dog charities represented on the day.

"The aim of Bark in the Park is to raise awareness and funds for local dogs needing new homes, to promote responsible pet ownership and to celebrate dogs," said veterinary nurse Ruth Collett. "There will be lots to see and do and buy and lots of pet related businesses attending so bring plenty of change."
