IT was very much out with the old and in with the new as the Carlsberg South Western and Axworthys' Devon League's held their annual general meetings at Eggbuckland Community College, Plymouth on Monday.

Both leagues were wound up at their respective AGMs before the combined 38 clubs plus 13 from the feeder leagues attended the inaugural annual general meeting of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League.

The league will be a limited company and will have a board of directors who are Robert Bell (chairman), Mark Hayman (vice-chairman), Phil Hiscox (company secretary), Mike Wilson (finance director), Phil Lowe (liaison director), Keith Mann (match officials director).

Three directors from each of the outgoing leagues were also elected and these were David Baskwill (Plymstock), Marcus Scott (Cullompton), Peter Snopek (Elburton), John Mead (Penzance), Dave Rawlings (Liskeard), and Mark Rowles (Plymouth Parkway).

The league still required other officers who would not be necessarily serving on the board and they were Mike Sampson (press officer), Graham Gordon (referee's officer), Alan Wallace (deputy referees' officer), Ashley Dawes (auditor), Mark Hayman (benevolent fund) and Phil Hiscox (website administrator).
