Light and Life Church filled with sound and light last Wednesday as a group of mothers and babies enjoyed an extra special sensory morning.

A weekly Baby Sensory session run at the church had a super twist last week as the children were sponsored to dress as superheroes as part of a national fundraiser for charity Tommy's, which carries out research into pregnancy issues including premature births, miscarriages, and stillbirths.

The little ones, aged up to 13 months, donned their outfits and enjoyed a light show with music, songs, and actions, and the group also held a raffle to raise a little bit more for the charity.

Organiser Melanie Blake said: "Babies all across the country who go to Baby Sensory classes will be doing the same class and becoming superheroes.

"Last time we did this across the country we raised £185,000, and this year we're aiming for £375,000."
