A passenger in a car which flipped onto its side between Penryn and Ponsanooth on Saturday has been issued with a penalty for being drunk and disorderly.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called at around 9pm to the single vehicle collision involving a Vauxhall Astra on the A393.
A police spokesperson said: "The female driver had minor injuries. A male passenger was reported to be in an intoxicated state and became rude and abusive to officers at the scene and was arrested: a 21 year old man."
Both the driver and passenger were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, and the man was issued with a penalty notice the following day for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
The road was cleared by 9.20pm.
