For the third time in its history the Mini Moke Club of the UK is coming to Cornwall for it’s annual national weekend.

The event will take place over this weekend and will see over 38 Mokes and 80 people descending on Falmouth from as far away as Scotland and Northern Ireland

The weekend, organised by Cornwall and Devon region co-ordinator John Bastin, will include a trip through the “back lanes” to Land’s End where the Mokes will be on display in the main square from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday, July 30.

The "Mokecade" will first be welcomed at Events Square in Falmouth by mayor Grenville Chappel at 9.30am and will then leave to make its way to Land’s End. Vehicles will then return to Falmouth via the A30 for a celebratory dinner at the Boslowick Inn. The base for the whole event will be Pennance Mill campsite on the road to Maenporth.

On Sunday, the Mokes will set off again to St Mawes, crossing the River Fal on the King Harry Ferry at around 2pm and later parking in the castle car park at St Mawes.

At present the “Mokeacade” will be made up of English Mokes, built in Abingdon; Australian Mokes, built in South Australia; and Portuguese/Cagiva Mokes built in Portugal by Rover and then Cagiva of Italy.
