SkyLight Cinema are hosting a screening of Jurassic Park in the atmospheric surroundings of Carn Marth quarry.

The audience can immerse themselves in the action as the classic film is screened in the wild outdoors at the heart of Cornwall's mining countryside.

Special guests, Cornwall Wildlife Trust's geology expert and Cornish Edible Insects, will be at the event giving talks to the audience before the film begins.

Other forms of refreshments will also be provided by Dynamite Valley Brewery and Cornish Waffle Box for those not partial to eating creepy crawlies.

'Jurassic Marth' will be at Carn Marth quarry, near Redruth on Wednesday, August 10 from 7pm.

'Doors' will open at 7pm, the talks start from 8pm and the film will start at sunset.
