Two attackers left a man with serious injuries after an attack outside a Penzance kebab shop in July.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault on a 33 year old man, which happened outside the takeaway in Market Jew Street, between 2am and 3am on Saturday, July 16.
The man was assaulted with blunt instruments by a man and a woman.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and have been released on police bail until October 7 while police continue their enquiries.
