A dedicated member of the RedYouth Community Youth Group has been presented with the Lions’ Youth Achievement Award.
Nominating 15-year-old Reece Meek from Redruth, Kayleigh Bray, managing director of RedYouth, said: “Reece has been a member of RedYouth for the past seven years and is a talented street dancer as well as a fantastic role model within the club.
"He always takes time to help younger members who really look up to him. Over the years We have seen his confidence grow leaps and bounds and are so proud of the young man that he has become. Reece is a worthy winner of the Lion’s Youth award.”
The Lion District Governor of 105SW farmer Fred Broom from Crewkerne Somerset was on a visit to the Camborne Redruth and District Lions Club and as an added bonus for Reece he was presented with the DG’s personal banner.
