Falmouth Bay Residents’ Association (FBRA) held its annual social event for 2016 at the Falmouth Hotel recently when members and guests tucked into cream teas.
The event was well attended with 85 people taking up the offer along with MP Sarah Newton, Trish Minson, deputy mayor of Falmouth, and town and county councillor, Geoffrey Evans.
FBRA had held an online auction in the days preceding the event which concluded on the day. There was also a raffle and between the two events, enough money was raised to allow a donation of £1,000 to FBRA’s chosen charity for 2016, Cornwall Air Ambulance (CAA).
