A group of students and graduates from the University of Exeter have organised a music festival in Falmouth to raise money for Oxfam.

The Oxjam Falmouth Takeover is taking place in venues throughout the town on Friday evening, with all proceeds going to Oxfam.

The event, which the group have created to enable local music to create a global impact, begins at Mono from 8pm, where Boundless Brothers, Hanterhir and Oh Majester will be providing the live entertainment.

The Front is the next venue as part of the music festival, where The Roustabouts and Ruth McGivern will be performing from 9.50pm.

Oxjam Falmouth will then finish at Five Below with TGL providing the music from 11.30pm.

The students and graduates who have volunteered to organise the fundraising event are Ben Stokes, Codi Mortimer, Matthew Emslie-Smith and Sarah Hopwood.

Oxjam Falmouth will take place in Falmouth at Mono, The Front and Five Below on Friday, September 30 from 8pm.
