Temporary traffic lights on the main Leedstown to Praze-an-Beeble road are set to continue for another month as South West Water seeks to replace 3.5 kilometres of water main.
The company and its partners are investing nearly £300,000 to improve the level of service to customers in the Leedstown area by replacing the section of pipe.
However two-way temporary traffic lights will be in use on the B3280 High Lanes Road until the end of October, with work having started on September 5.
A company spokesperson said: "The improvements are being made to address the issue of multiple bursts and loss of service in the area over the past few years and to improve the level of supply for the future.
"We do apologise for any disruption customers may experience as a result of this essential work."
