Merlin Quinnan who was reported missing from Penzance has been located this afternoon.

Police reported that Merlin, who had been missing since Friday, has now been located, and said: "We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter."

Police in west Cornwall are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 24 year-old Merlin Quinnan, who was last seen in the Penzance area on Friday, September 30.

Merlin has not been seen by his family or friends since Friday and police are asking that he gets in touch to let them know that he is safe and well.

He has links to Penzance, Hayle, Camborne and Redruth and is described as 5' 9" tall, white male, wearing dark clothing, a bomber jacket and shoes.

If anyone has seen Merlin or can offer any information regarding his whereabouts, they are asked to dial 999 quoting log 971 for September 30.
