The footwell of a car is not normally considered a hazard, but that all changed for one Helston motorist at the weekend.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to Gweal Wartha at around 5.20pm on Friday, after a person became trapped in a vehicle footwell.
A fire service spokesperson said they were called to assist in releasing a person "who had fallen and got stuck" in the car.
The person was released and left in care of the paramedic.
