Falmouth police spent four hours dismantling a cannabis farm after a routine stop and search led to an unexpected discovery.
Officers stopped two men in Falmouth on Monday afternoon, and a later arrest on suspicion of drug related offences led them to search properties in the Falmouth and Penryn area.
The search, conducted by neighbourhood and response officers along with CID, turned up drug paraphernalia and nine cannabis plants, as well as hydroponic equipment.
The Falmouth Police Twitter account later posted a picture of some plants, with the caption: "Officers from Falmouth response CID and neighbourhood worked for 4 hrs this morning dismantling this hydroponics set up."
Police later confirmed that two men remain in custody, and inquiries are ongoing.
