A touch of Christmas came early to Devoran Pre-school recently with its fair and Christmas shopping experience.
Gift hunters gathered at the pre-school where they were able to feast on home made cakes and mince pies while looking around stalls, including jewellery, aromatherapy, makeup, chocolate and crafts as well as enjoying games, while the children took part in craft activities.
Anyone out to win a prize could take part in the raffle and tombola, or have a go at guessing the name of a teddy bear or the weight of a prize cake.
Cathy Kemp, the pre-school manager, said: "It was very well attended by parents, families and local people.
"A very enjoyable event, with craft activities for the children, so everyone was catered for."
The fair raised a total of £380 for the pre-school, and Cathy said: "We are going to use the money to towards a kitchen for the children."
