The fifth annual Live Nativity will take place in Falmouth this weekend, culminating on The Moor where there will be animals in pens in a marquee.

The free community event is organised by Falmouth and Penryn Churches Together in conjunction with Falmouth Town Council. Activities will begin at Events Square at 1.15pm on Sunday with carol singing before centurions call everyone to return to Bethlehem for the census.

The public are invited to get involved by following Joseph and Mary and their donkeys through town; helping them find somewhere to stay by asking the inn keepers if they have any room and listening to choirs of angels and angel Gabriel while the shepherds watch their sheep outside King Charles Church.

There will be then the chance to listen to King Herod and then follow the star and the three kings to the stable in the on The Moor. The final scene will see Mary cradling baby Jesus in the stable while St Mary's School choir sing.

Afterwards you can look at the alpacas, sheep, Shetland pony, goats and donkeys or join the pygmy goats, rabbits and guinea pigs in their pen in the marquee. There will also be free refreshments and children’s crafts in Falmouth Methodist Church for all to enjoy.
