Students at Truro and Penwith College are preparing for their annual Hair and Beauty Gala show, and the competition is tougher than ever as the winner this year could achieve a place at the Cornish Skills competition in March.
The event takes place on Thursday, February 2 at 6pm, and will be held at the Penwith College Zennor Building.
There will be lights, music and a showcase of the best creative hairdressing and beauty from the college.
Last year two winning entrants took a very creative approach to hairdressing, with one model taking to the catwalk dressed as a Rubiks cube, and another styled like a comic book.
