The sounds of Camden Town will be coming to Newquay's private beach this summer as Razorlight announce an exclusive Sundowner Session for July.

The noughties indie darlings fronted by Johnny Borrell will be playing Lusty Glaze beach, bringing nostalgic Electric Ballroom sounds to one of the county’s most stunning venues with an unforgettable sunset backdrop.

The indie rockers - currently consisting of Borrell on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, drummer Skully, bassist João Mello and lead guitarist David Ellis - formed in 2002 and have had an array of maverick guitar hits including In The Morning and America.

Razorlight fans will also be delighted to know they’re currently working on songs for their forthcoming album.

Lusty Glaze Beach’s owner, Tracey Griffiths, said: “We are extremely excited to announce that Razorlight are confirmed to play here at Lusty Glaze this summer - this collaboration is certain to be mind blowing. We endeavour to bring unique and incredible events and gigs to Cornwall and this will

undoubtedly be one of them.”

Lusty Glaze has an ever-growing reputation as one of the best exclusive live music venues in the county following a hugely successful line up last year, including performances by Guy Garvey, Newton Faulkner and Symphony by The Sea. Hosting an audience of over 3000 people, the beach is a vibrant and atmospheric venue.

Razorlight play Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay on Thursday, July 20, and tickets are on sale now, allocated on a first come first serve basis.
