They say a picture tells a thousand words - and sometimes no explanation is needed at all.
This stunning photograph from RNAS Culdrose, showing a Merlin helicopter flying above the moon, speaks for itself.
It was taken by Lieutenant Commander Graeme Stringer from the Helston naval base's air traffic control tower, on one of those rare occasions when the moon is visible during daylight hours.
