Four people were injured in a serious road collision in West Cornwall on Easter Sunday.
Police officers rushed to the scene where a Daihatsu Hijet and a Ford KA had crashed head on.
The incident occurred between Newbridge and St Just, on the A3071, at about 12.30 on Sunday.
A 58-year-old woman, who was driving the Daihatsu, suffered serious leg injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, and her passenger was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital with minor injuries.
The two occupants of the Ka, a 63-year-old and his 88-year-old female passenger were also taken to Treliske with minor injuries.
All four are believed to be local to the Penzance and St Just area.
The road was closed for six hours for a police investigation.
