Falmouth Marine School will be opening its doors this Saturday, April 22, from 10am until noon to give visitors a feel for student life and a chance to meet staff and students, and get advice on finance, student life and courses.

From 1pm until 3pm there will also be free taster sessions, designed to give potential students a real insight into what it would be like to study at the college.

Head of Falmouth Marine School, Justin Olosunde, said it is a fantastic opportunity for people to discover the opportunities at one of the UK’s most celebrated specialist colleges. “We offer everything from entry-level to degree-level courses, including apprenticeships, many of which are not offered anywhere else in the county,” he said.

“The building here has been transformed and we can now boast some world-class facilities. Our ethos is about making learning work, so we want to help students develop, not only the right qualifications, but to help them gain real employability skills and experiences. We have some great facilities and this is an opportunity for students of all ages to come and explore what is on offer at Falmouth Marine School.”

The free taster sessions are bookable in advance, which can be booked by visiting falmouthmarineschool.ac.uk or calling 01326310310.
