A woman who died following a single car collision at Hillside near Stithians Lake, Carnmenellis, Redruth, has been named police.
Police have formally identified 29-year-old Hazel Brown from Redruth.
Hazel worked at Acorn Toddler Group based at the Highway Church in Penryn.
She leaves behind a partner and two young children.
Emergency services were called at approximately 8.50pm on Tuesday 16 May following reports of the collision.
As a result of the incident the vehicle entered the water of the lake. Hazel, who was driving, was conveyed to Treliske hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Police closed the road for five and a half hours while a specialist forensic examination of the scene was carried out.
Officers from Plymouth and Camborne Roads Policing Team attended the scene and are appealing for further witnesses to come forward.
