The work of a Penryn based artist documenting the life of the town is due to come to fruition over the next month.
Laura Menzies has been working with residents on a community project, Penryn Today, creating a participatory publication celebrating life in the town from July 2016 to July 2017.
She described the project as “a multi-layered and diverse expression of local life.”
All the materials in the work will have been contributed by residents through a range of activities and workshops, and a few events are still to come.
This evening, June 14, there will be a drop in workshop and project update at Penryn Museum between 7pm and 9pm, on Friday, June 16, a community window will be unveiled at Fannie and Fox gallery between 5pm and 8pm, and on July 3, there will be a families workshop at the Olive Branch Café between 10am and 12 noon.
And on August 26 the publication will be launched at Penryn Fair Day.
