A Penryn band who have been added to Looe Festioval's stellar line-up will be making the most of their success with a tour around Cornwall - and beyond - this summer.

Jonah's lift, who have already headlined Sunday evening at the Falmouth Folk and Cider Festival, will be bringing their high octane, foot-stomping and fun brand of folk and world music to festivals around the county, between now and September.

The music is predominately fiddle driven by the supremely talented Nathan Conway, ably assisted by Drew Taylor Moore on guitar, Wayne Booth on bodhran and whistles, Bruce Jordan on bass, Yan Speake on drums, Joshua Barrett on banjo and mandolin, and Steve Downing on whistles and clarinet.

The band will be at the Big Tent Festival in Gweek on Sat, Jun 17, then the Sark Folk Festival on Sat July 1, Stithians Steam Rally on Friday, August 18, Crantock Folk Festival on Monday, Aug 28, and St. Mawgan Steam Rally on Friday September 15.

Finally, they will appear at Looe Music Festival on Saturday, September 29.
