Coastguards have released footage of the at-sea rescue of a man who was injured in an explosion on a fishing boat yesterday off west Cornwall.
The man was airlifted to hospital yesterday morning following the explosion on the single handed vessel Hope.
Sennen Cove RNLI was sent to the sea off Pendeen at around 9.30am along with the search and rescue helicopter from Newquay, and the man was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "His condition is not thought to be life-threatening and we wish him a speedy recovery."
Sennen Cove's Tamar class lifeboat the City of London III took the man's boat in tow to Newlyn.
