Crowds filled the harbourside at Porthleven this morning to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall as they dropped in during a tour of the duchy.

Prince Charles and Camilla were in the port to visit a Great Cornish Food showcase, and upon arrival they were met by the mayor, Andrew Wallis, who escorted them around a variety of local businesses.

Among other places, they visited the Customs House Gallery and Horse and Jockey bakery, as well as meeting with representatives of Porthleven Gig Club and the children of Porthleven School.

The visit is part of a three day tour of Cornwall, which will also see the duke and duchess visit a Newquay housing estate owned by the duchy tour the headquarters of the Cornwall Air Ambulance, of which Camilla is a patron.
