A Mullion based artist and a local textile maker are currently exhibiting their works at the Helston Museum.
Chand Truscot and Rachel Stowe are showing their contemporary paintings and textiles until Saturday, July 29, in the museum's Mezzanine Gallery.
Chand, who went to school in Helston and returned to Mullion to practice painting, said: "The paintings are mainly based around Poldhu and Marconi field. They could be loosely described as abstract expressionism.
"Whilst walking my dog Izzie I have studied the daily changes in light, the patterns and movement on the water and sand, the cliff faces, sunsets and shapes of the land."
Rachel, who is constantly developing her work, produces unique hand painted and printed silk and velvet accessories, experimenting with
various techniques including devore, dye reduction, wax resist, screen printing and hand painting.
