Penryn College's exciting EdVenture programme will be returning to keep children entertained and active during the summer holiday.
The holidays can be a difficult time for parents as they attempt to entertain their children in the Cornish summer mizzle, and Penryn College has recognised this along with the chance it creates for children to continue their learning and development beyond the normal school term.
EdVenture offers a respite to parents and provides a range of activities arranged to engage children between the ages of three and 16 in a host of sporting, artistic and academic means. The various sessions, either based at the college or off-site at specifically selected venues, are all led by experts within their field and intended to cater for all abilities.
Jake Ash, Penryn’s study support programme manager, said: “We have carefully designed a programme that will appeal to as wide a range and age of children as possible.
“There is hopefully something for everyone, and the intention is that everything is inclusive, but also very much focussed on stretching and developing each participant. We know how hard half terms can be for parents, so hopefully we can ease the burden slightly.”
The range of activities is listed on the new MyEdventure.co.uk website and parents also now have the capability to book and pay online.
