As the year six pupils at Falmouth Primary Academy prepared to leave the school and move onto the next stage of their education, there was time for one last celebration after their results exceeded the national average.
The youngsters and the teaching staff are "extremely proud" of this year's year six SATs results. "The combined total for children reaching age related expectations in English and maths was 77 per cent when nationally it is 62 per cent," said head of school, Jane Alexander.
"This is due to the dedication of all staff in ensuring that all children achieve their potential. The children are really proud of their achievements and are well prepared for secondary school. Falmouth Primary Academy continues to provide outstanding education for all children starting from our outstanding nursery."
