Sunshine may have been a little sparse over recent weeks but the Lizard Lifeboat Summer Fete was lucky enough to take place under bright blue skies.
Visitors were treated to the usual souvenir stalls, cakes, crab sandwiches, raffles and games to entertain all.
Music throughout the fete was provided by “Dave Sounds."
The fundraising committee was "delighted" to welcome coastguards from the area and Mullion firefighters, with both proving popular attractions to the fete.
A committee spokesperson said: "All at the lifeboat station wish to thank them for their attendance during the afternoon.
"Huge thanks go to all of the volunteers who generously made cakes and donated raffle prizes, manned the stalls and gave up their time, and to everyone who came and supported a fantastic afternoon for The Lizard Lifeboat." More than £1,300 was raised, with the event hailed as another "resounding success."
The next event is on Saturday, August 12 at Landewednack School when everyone is invited to enjoy a “big breakfast” all in aid of the Lizard Lifeboat.
