Even more people are being given the chance to join the lifesaving work of the Lizard RNLI.
The organisation is opening up its catchment area for volunteers to residents of Mullion, Ruan Minor and Kuggar, having previously been restricted to just The Lizard village.
Existing personnel will be hosting two recruitment days at the Lizard Lifeboat Station next week, on Wednesday September 20 and Thursday, September 21.
Open between 10am and 8pm each day, the events will be a chance to find out more about volunteering in a variety of roles, including crew, shore crew, fundraisers, community safety advisors, deputy launch authorities and souvenir shop assistants.
No appointment is necessary, with everyone welcome to come along.
A spokesperson said: "We hope to be able to welcome new members to our already thriving and enthusiastic team at the Lizard Lifeboat Station."
For more details call the station on 01326 290451.
