British folk music star Kate Rusby will be celebrating 25 years on the road as she brings her latest tour to the Hall For Cornwall next month.

Rusby has had an illustrious career in the music industry and her 25th anniversary tour will showcase the best of her catalogue, confirming her as one of the finest interpreters of traditional folk songs and one of our most emotive original songwriters.

Her wondrous singing and hugely engaging Yorkshire wit, together with the support of her fantastic band, ensure that audiences will be treated to a truly remarkable and unforgettable concert experience.

Joining her on stage will be the cream of British folk artists who form her band, Damien O’Kane on guitar, tenor guitar and banjo, Steve Byrnes on bouzouki, guitar and tenor guitar, Nick Cooke on diatonic accordion and Duncan Lyall on double bass.

Singing tracks from her album Life in a Paper Boat, alongside much loved classics, this will be an intimate evening of stories and songs in a special 25 year celebration.

Kate Rusby will be the Hall For Cornwall on Wednesday, October 18, at 7.30pm. Tickets and information are available at hallforcornwall.co.uk or on 01872 262466.
