One of Cornwall’s biggest motoring days out, Cannonball Cornwall, will return to the roads of the county this weekend.

This year Cannonball Cornwall will be heading off from Wendron FC on September 24, offering a fun drive out around the duchy with ten secret check points to find, and to add a bit of extra fun to the day the organisers have teamed up with Perranporth Airfield for a special twist.

The day will take in Cornish landmarks and via the route you think best, but it is not a race, instead it’s about finding the best route and having a great day. This year drivers will be able to meet the Stig's Cornish cousin, have a go in a Formula One car simulator and of course the secret treat at Perranporth Airfield.

Gates open from 9am and drivers set off from 11am. Refreshments and breakfast are available on the morning.

Anyone can take part in any type of vehicle as long as it is road legal. Entry includes driver, car and passengers and can be made at cannonballcornwall.co.uk or there will be very limited spaces to sign up on the morning.

There are prizes up for grabs on the day and the champion will be crowned Cannonball Cornwall winner 2017.
