Another in the successful series of charity discos which grew out of the Falmouth and Penryn Old Skool Reunion Facebook group will be held on Saturday, November 4.

It had been hoped to hold this latest event in Penryn, but it was decided the venue originally chosen would have restricted the numbers able to attend so organisers have gone back to Falmouth Rugby Club.

Fancy dress is again optional, but encouraged, with music of the 60s, 70s and 80s top of the playlist. DJ for the night will be David Kitts and all the money raised with go to local charities which are yet to be decided.

The first charity disco was held four years ago and stemmed from the Facebook group which was created to reunite old class-mates who group up in the area. Members of the group share old photographs, memories and music of the era and now meet up at least once a year, many of them in fancy dress, to party and dance the night away.

Doors open at the rugby club at 7pm on November 4 and entry costs £5, payable on the night.
