The funeral service for former MP and Falmouth councillor Candy Atherton will be held at Penmount Crematorium at noon on Tuesday, November 21.
Her husband, Brod Ross, announced the details this morning and is still finalising plans for a wake which will take place after the service.
Candy, who was town and county councillor for Smithick in Falmouth and had been the MP for the Falmouth and Camborne constituency between 1997 and 2005, died on Monday, October 31, after suffering a massive stroke.
Her death prompted a stream of tributes from the likes of Labour leader, Jeremy Corbin; former Prime Minister, Tony Blair and current Prime Minister, Theresa May.
