Nine men have now been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Truro last month.

Tomas Bakierskis, aged 24 from Bristol, Haroldas Ivanovas, aged 20 from Newquay, Andrius Buinevicius, aged 41 from Lithuania, Saulius Mickus, aged 28 from Bristol, and Rogertas Slekaitis, aged 25 from Kingslynne, had already been charged with robbery, conspire to commit robbery, have an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

It followed an incident at Michael Spiers jewellers in Lower Lemon Street on January 11.

Now, Agris Davidonis, aged 30 from an address in Gunnislake and Gytis Inokaitis aged 35 from Plymouth and Deimantas Burba, aged 32 from no fixed abode, have also been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, while Harijus Jaciaskas, aged 32 from Manchester, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and breach of a deportation order.

All nine men have been remanded in custody and will appear before Truro Crown Court on February 13.
