Cornwall's former Police and Crime Commissioner who lives in Helston has been fined by a court for speeding.
Anthony John Marsden Hogg, more commonly known as Tony Hogg, broke the 70mph speed limit while driving a Mercedes C320 on the A30 at Dunheved Bridge near Launceston.
Hogg, of Degibna Lane, was guilty under the single justice procedure when his case was heard by magistrates in Bodmin.
They fined the 68-year-old £532 and ordered that he pay £85 costs plus a £53 victim surcharge. His driving record was also endorsed with five points.
