Jean the popular wife of Penryn town crier Jim Henderson, passed away after a long illness
on Sunday, March 11, at Kernow House in Launceston where she had been in care for the last five years.
Jean’s funeral will be at Penmount crematorium in Truro at 3pm on April 6. Jim's close friend, Ann Congdon said: "Jim will be most pleased if you can join him for a short service to remember the life of a wonderful and greatly loved lady all are invited to join Jim and family following the service at the Falmouth Hotel for refreshments."
Having been the in-house florist at the Falmouth Beach Hotel for 12 years, Jean loved flowers.
Donations to dementia Charities and floral tributes will be most welcome but floral sheaves/bouquets are preferred as these could then be taken after the service to Petherwin, Kernow House for the residents to benefit from them in the unit.
