A fashion show was held in Devoran to showcase the work of four independent designers based in Cornwall.
The collections displayed at the show were Noelle Knight of La mode d’Elleon's line of tropical swimwear; a collection of casualwear designed by Lorraine Campbell of Sidekick Boutique in Penryn; Kezia Byass’s graduate work from her Kingston Art College show; and Christine Trewinnard's couture which is designed and made in Gorran Haven.
Seven local models volunteered to show Cornwall’s young and established fashion leaders in the warm village hall, including Jana Sutherland, Tabitha Buckley, Ally Graham, Chanel Roberts, Ruth Longmore and Ruth Elora.
Joke Snel, Jeremy Williams, Caroline Johnson, Nick Johnson, Becks Hazzard, Rosemary Byass, Annette Broderick, Brendan Godley, Rachel Westley, and Tim Smithies hosted the post show Q&A.
The show also featured a screening of the documentary Dior & I, which takes a behind-the-scenes look at the work of Raf Simons at Dior.
Devoran Films For Our Futures, C Fylm Club will be running their next event on March 28, which will feature a screening of short wildlife films from Cornwall including the release of beavers in the upper Fal, and Cornwall butterfly conservation.
